Dumb Friends League Career Critter Camps
June 27-July 21: Four-day session camps for future animal advocates, veterinarians and behaviorists, ages 11-14 (6th through 8th grade). Participants explore careers in animal welfare and learn about pet safety, animal behavior and training. $200 for four-day session, fees benefit the Dumb Friends League. June-July: Colorado State University Extension Jefferson County camp for children entering 4th and 5th grades. Explore Colorado's natural and cultural history through hands-on outdoor activities. Weekly camps June 6-July 15 and 4-H Jr. Science Explorers, ages 8-10, June 27- July 1 and July 11-15. 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. $155 per week, financial aid available. 303-271-6620, jeffcoextension
